22nd October, 7.30pm (VIP reception at 7.00pm)
Spend a magical evening in the company of Jane Austen’s most memorable characters from the comic absurdity of the Dashwoods, to the heartfelt passion of Wentworth and Anne, not to mention the charming duplicity of the notorious Mr. Wickham. Set in the magnificent surroundings of the Royal Pavilion’s Music Room the evening consists of duologues performed by actors Caroline Langrishe (Judge John Deed, Lovejoy) and Adrian Lukis (Mr Wickham in the BBC production of Pride and Prejudice, Peak Practice) alongside Regency-era musical entertainment from harpist Camilla Pay and soprano Rosie Lomas.
Author Catherine Curzon will introduce the performance and will sign copies of her book, Life in the Georgian Court, during the interval.

Hi Catherine,
I would love to come and see this but its always a little to far. Do you have any plans to come to maybe, High Wycombe, Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury or even my home town of Tring, where we have a very fine small theatre? (The Court Theatre at Pendley)

Looking forward to it, Catherine. 😊
We would love to bring the show to new venues, so we're always looking out for recommendations. Hopefully we can perform near you!
We can't wait!
And another thing. Hester (formerly Salusbury and Thrale) Piozzi and Gabriel are said to have spent most of their winters in Bath. Years ago I have a memory of seeing them in a Bath Directory and being in the same street as the Austen's. Sadly, at the time I was looking for other things and cannot find the note in the ton of paper here. Could Jane and Hester have been drinking coffee at the same time and place sometime?
What a delicious thought!
I would love to go but I have family coming to visit that week :( Enjoy!!!!
Enjoy your family visit!
